Nutritious and healthy food during pregnancy is very vital for every pregnant woman and her baby. Every mother wishes that her baby should have better mental and physical development in the womb itself. And so she focuses on her diet, food, and regular workout activities.
As food is a basic and much important ingredient in the pregnancy lifecycle she thinks about what to eat and what not to eat in pregnancy.
During pregnancy, there are restrictions towards some food items, in such cases, it is important to pay special attention to fruits.

- Banana: Banana is the most delightful food eaten during pregnancy. It contains folate, vitamin C, B6, potassium, magnesium. The doctor recommends having a banana every day in the first trimester.
- Custard Apple: It contains a very good amount of vitamin A and vitamin C which is good for the eyes, skin, and hair of your baby. The fiber in custard apple is very helpful to prevent constipation during pregnancy.
- Chikku: Chikku is full of electrolytes, vitamin A, carbohydrates, and energy, which is also suitable for breastfeeding, it is very profitable for expecting mothers. This fruit improves stomach disorders such as diarrhea and dysentery.
- Watermelon: Watermelon is wealthy in vitamins A, C, B6, magnesium, and potassium. Eating watermelon in the first trimester of pregnancy helps in strengthening the heart, reduce swelling in hands and feet because of pregnancy, besides, it reduces muscle contractions and keeps you hydrated. It is the best and apt diet during pregnancy.
